Here Come the Freshies

I can't believe how quickly this summer has passed! It seems like just yesterday we were saying goodbye to the class of 2011 after grad nite and trying to recover. Suddenly, Link Crew training days are approaching and we are getting ready to welcome the class of 2016 to Poly High School. (That is really scary for me - that means that it will be 20 years since I graduated from high school when they graduate!!)

I know that everyone is trying to cram in all of the wonderful things they've been doing all summer but I just wanted to remind you that on Friday, we will be together again. Wear comfortable clothes. Remember May Development Days? We will be interspersing activities like that with the actual practicing of your lessons.

I can't wait to see you all and have some fun! Friday. 8:30. Be there!!

Welcome

Welcome to the Link Crew blog for Poly High School. We (the Link Crew Advisors - Mrs. Wilson, Ms. Kromas, Mrs. Avila, Mr. Breyer, and Mr. Johnston) are so excited that you are going to be a part of this amazing program. You have taken a big step in volunteering to be a part of this program. Our hope is that the program will have as much of an impact on you, as you do on your Freshies. As Flora Adams said, "In helping others, we shall help ourselves, for whatever good we give completes the circle and comes back to us."

This year is going to be fun! This year is going to be challenging! This year is going to be busy! This year is going to be memorable! Remember, the first day of Link Crew Training is August 17th.
